Gaithersburg Real Estate
The Gaithersburg area has grown fast and more upscale
since the 1980's. There are many new single family homes, townhouses,
and condos,
particularly in the Montgomery Village area and along the Germantown border.
Gaithersburg is attractive to many people for it's access
to Metro (Shady Grove station), diversified
shopping (including Montgomery Village Mall and numerous car dealers), and county services. Most homes are townhouses and apartments/condominiums,
but there are also many single family homes throughout the area.
There also are several hospitals nearby, including
Shady Grove Hospital.
